Alice in Chains – Spring Tour 2014 Nearing the End, But…

...but that doesn't mean they're going to slow down. A quick check of their tour schedule has them on the road for most of the summer, with just a short break in June.

I made a stop in Davenport, IA on Friday night (5-23-14) at the beautiful, and SOLD-OUT Adler Theatre in Davenport's downtown Riverfront District. I was there in the 5th row to get my face rocked off, snap a few photos, and blow-out my vocal cords singing along to a set list that for me, was made in heaven (or more accurately, groaned from 'down in a hole').

Leading up to the show I took the liberty of tweeting-out via my personal twitter account (@trainwreckradio ) a few suggestive tweets/requests hoping the band would note the song and maybe play it on Friday night. I had been keeping track of what songs they were playing night to night via setlist.fm

Well, they played it, and 'Down in a Hole' would light the fuse of a 3 song encore that would put the cap on a fantastic evening of rock! I suggest keeping twitter in your rock & roll toolbox! \m/\m/
