Was This Band From Iowa Adopted By Minnesota?

I've been hearing a lot about The Pines lately. I bet you have too - and for good reason.

Before I get the "THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A BLOG FOR MINNESOTA BANDS!" comments, let me just explain that these native Iowans have basically been adopted by Minnesota. Here's why I think that.

• They recently tore up our state fair.
• They have/will play a BUNCH of upcoming dates all over our state.
• They're based in Minneapolis.

If you're into a folky-chilled out vibe, these guys are perfect for you. Think Aaron Lewis after Staind.

Their biography on Facebook explains,

The Pines are David Huckfelt, Benson Ramsey & Alex Ramsey (with J.T. Bates, James Buckley, Michael Rossetto & Jacob Hanson).
