STP Leaving No Stone Un-turned In Search Of New Frontman

Since last February the remaining members of Stone Temple Pilots have been
searching high and low for their next frontman. In a recent interview Robert DeLeo,
bassist for STP said this: "You know, I promise you one thing: we're not gonna settle," he said. "This person has to be really, really great. You know, we had the fortune of being in a band with one of the greats — twice! You know, Chester included. So we're not gonna settle."

The tragedy of Scott Weiland passing, and the departure of Chester Bennington heading back to Linkin Park has undoubtedly kept the Brother's DeLeo quite busy.

As a side note, On June 28, 2007, Neal Schon, guitarist and member of the band Journey, saw a video of Filipino Arnel Pineda on YouTube and immediately contacted him. The band had been looking for a new lead singer, and Pineda's voice sounded strikingly similar to Steve Perry.

This is a 12-song medley of most of Stone Temple Pilots' hits. We purposely wanted to feel an audition in a live setting so we decided to do a live recording session at Skunkproductions Studios in Manila, Philippines.
