Rochester Man Arrested for Stalking Ex-Girlfriend
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested over the weekend for repeatedly harassing and stalking his ex-girlfriend and damaging her property.
Police say on one occasion, 26-year-old Renard Carter broke into the woman’s apartment and poured bleach onto her clothing and furnishings before leaving with her handgun.The woman became so concerned she left town for a few days.
Last Friday, Carter confronted her while she was in her car and slashed two of her tires and keyed the driver’s side. He later showed up at her apartment. When Carter left, she called police and officers were ready when he returned and he was taken into custody.
