Chester “Owns It” at The Myth with Stone Temple Pilots [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Friday night at The Myth in Maplewood (or North St Paul. as some say) it would come down to this. Would Chester Bennington "own it" (as many have hoped) as the undisputed frontman of Stone Temple Pilots?

If you ask the 'brothers DeLeo' in an interview they will tell you their band is no longer being billed as Stone Temple Pilots w/Chester Bennington, rather, it's Stone Temple Pilots.......PERIOD. Based on the Fri nite performance I witnessed, it's a no-brainer!

Four years ago at the Myth it was all about Scott fronting STP. On this night, it was all about Chester, and yes, he "owned it" in my (not-so-humble) opinion. The songs? Well, they stand on their own! What a freaking phenomenal evening of rock! -'train'
