According to this TwinCities.com story, we're talking about Highway 110 in Inver Grove Heights. It runs from Minnentonka on the west all the way to I-494 in the southeast metro. And if you've ever headed to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport from Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights, South St. Paul or Eagan, you've probably taken it.

So what's its new name going to be? Well, the story says MnDOT is going to change the name of Minnesota Highway-110 to... Minnesota Highway-62, which, of course, is also known as the Crosstown.

What's with the name change? The story says it all about trying to clear up confusion caused when essentially the same highway is called different names.

"Over the years, the names have caused confusion for drivers who are unfamiliar with the area and end up taking the wrong road," Jon Solberg, Minnesota Department of Transportation south area manager said in the story. "It’s especially an issue for those going to or leaving the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport," the story noted.

Which actually makes sense, if you ask me. Why is it the same road or highway often times has several different names as you travel across them?!? This should clear that up... maybe. The story says we'll start seeing the new Highway-62 signs next summer.
