Minnesota may not have won a Super Bowl...yet... but you'll still be able to check out some way-cool Super Bowl rings right here in Rochester.

You win the Super Bowl, you get prestige... money... and a big 'ol ring, right? Well, here's your chance to check out what every Super Bowl ring looks like, courtesy of the Championship Ring Tour, which is currently making a trip through Minnesota.

In fact, you can check them out in person right now at the Hage Atrium in the Seibens Subway, part of the Mayo Clinic's campus downtown. It's sponsored by the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, as it gets ready to host Super Bowl 52 at U.S. Bank Stadium in February.

According to the Super Bowl Championship Ring Tour website, the display is up and running now through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features "33 hand-crafted Super Bowl rings from the past 51 years including the first ever championship ring awarded to Green Bay in 1966 and the most recent ring awarded to New England in 2017."

And those are some BIG rings. I remember when I was working in Eau Claire and the station hosted a visit from a few members of the Packers. This was back in the summer of 1997, after Green Bay won Super Bowl 31 earlier that year. They were wearing their championship rings and even then, 20 years ago, I thought they looked pretty big.  But those rings look downright petite compared to the monster championship rings they hand out these days!
