I Tried The Chicken Shawarma At The New Damsy Restaurant

After months of anticipation, the new Damsy restaurant has finally opened up in the old China Star building in downtown Rochester. Since it’s literally next door to where I work, I’ve definitely been looking forward to this for quite some time.

This afternoon, I walked over to grab a quite bite and immediately knew what I wanted to order. Scratch that – had to order. I’ll give you a hint:

I mean, if it’s good enough for Tony Stark, it’s gotta be good enough for me, right? I absolutely ordered some Chicken Shawarma for myself.

It’s good stuff, too. If you’ve never had it before, it’s basically savory chicken in a wrap with veggies and a really delicious sauce. A very tasty alternative to the usual pizza or fast food I usually stuff my face with every day. As for the store itself, it’s very clean and pleasant inside. As a big fan of Mediterranean food, Damsy is definitely going to be getting my business going forward.
