Rochester Couple Attempts Guinness World Record With Huge Pile Of Pancakes
A stack of pancakes three feet high! Who is serving THAT in Rochester?
Over the weekend, Sean Thomez and Lisa Dobbelaere, a couple in Minnesota, had a goal to have the tallest stack of pancakes and set the Guinness World Record. They did this at The Salvation Army in Rochester and made up 60 pounds of batter for the challenge!
They came up a few inches short of the record, which was 3 feet, 4 inches, but they did do something pretty amazing. Their huge stack of pancakes helped feed dozens of people at the hot lunch program at the Rochester Salvation Army.
“We thought that attempting to break this record would also be a fun way to give back to the community,” Dobbelaere said in an interview at centralusa.salvationarmy.org.
They may not have beat the record...but I'm sure they are winners to the many that ate some delicious pancakes this past weekend!
