In May the Post Bulletin was sold to Forum Communications, a Fargo based company. At that time, the newspaper staff was notified that they would be relocating to southwest Rochester at some point in 2019 and that printing of the Rochester paper would be shifted to Red Wing. Prior to that sale the newspaper had put its downtown buildings on the market in November of 2018 with an asking price of $22-million.

According to bizjournals.com, the 100,000 sq. ft. property was just sold for $10.5 million to PB Rochester Investments. A Post Bulletin report says that firm was incorporated less that 2-weeks ago so it's not clear who is behind the purchase or what the plans for the property might be.
