Trader Joe's is one of my favorite places to nab groceries in Rochester. It seems like every time I walk into the store, there's always some new and delicious waiting for me to spontaneously shove into my cart. And I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad that stuff is mostly junk food.

That's because the Minnesota Health Department just announced that three people have contracted salmonella after eating some befouled cantaloupe from an unnamed Minnesota Trader Joe's store. The melons have been linked to the Indiana food supplier Caito Foods LLC, who have already issued a voluntary recall of watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, and mixed fruit. So far, 93 people in nine states across the country have been sickened by the tainted melons.

So while the exact location of the Minnesota Trader Joe's hasn't been released, you might want to hold off on eating those fresh-cut cantaloupes you bought last week. Because you definitely do not want to experience the symptoms of salmonella poisoning.

The moral of the story? Buying a bag of White Cheddar Puffs isn't just the tastiest thing to do; it's also the safest thing to do. That's what I'm taking away from this.
