Every day since the Category 4 Hurricane washed ashore and caused massive flooding and destruction, my wife and I have been shaking our heads in dismay.

Thousands upon thousands have been forced to flee for their lives, and it's truly disheartening to watch it all unfold in the news.

So if you’re looking to make a difference, here’s how you can help the victims impacted by the Texas flooding:

  • The American Red Cross -

The organization is helping people by providing shelter and sending truck loads of supplies. Call 1-800-RED CROSS or to text HARVEY to 90999 to make a donation. You can also make a donation HERE.

  • Salvation Army -

The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services is working to help provide food and clothing to victims seeking shelter. Donors can call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or click HERE.

  • Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund -

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner established his own Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. To donate or to learn more, click HERE.

If you’re looking to volunteer your time to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army are in need of volunteers to help at shelters.

You can learn how to volunteer for the American Red Cross here and for the Salvation Army here.
