How many times have you heard the phrase, 'Turn Around, Don't Drown'? A few dozen times this spring? Well, MnDOT recently released drone footage of the currently closed Minnesota Highway 93 leading into Le Sueur yesterday, and like the adage says this picture is worth a 1,000 words. 


In a separate tweet yesterday MnDOT wanted to remind motorist of the facts dealing between flooded roadways and cars/SUVs.

Residents in the area are using MN 112 to bypass the flooded highway leading to Highway 169. MnDOT also wanted to remind Minnesotans to be sure to check 511mn.org for travel conditions before they head out the door, or are headed back from their spring break trips.
