The popular TV show 'Bar Rescue' has been on for 8 seasons now, since 2011, and in that time only 4 Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa bars have been on the show. One of those was a bar in Minnesota, one in Iowa, and two in Wisconsin.

Mac & Chester's SRO - Anoka, Minnesota

Mac & Chester's SRO, in Anoka, MN, was featured in season 4 of 'Bar Rescue'. The air date of their episode was March 6th, 2016. Mac & Chester's was named after the two owners, Scott Mac and Todd Chester. Eventually, Todd's wife, Elise, was brought on to help run the place but things obviously went downhill because they ended up on 'Bar Rescue'. I have not seen this episode but according to BarRescueUpdates.com, the bar was renamed Boulder Lodge Bar & Grill.

It appears they did pretty well after 'Bar Rescue' came in to help but now I can't find Boulder Lodge Bar & Grill anywhere online. I did, however, find a place called Back to the SRO Bar & Grill when I Googled the original bar name. The location fits the description of Mac & Chester's, it has softball fields right behind the bar, and I don't think many bars have that in the same area. The email address on Back to the SRO's Facebook page is elisechestermn@gmail.com, Todd's wife. So it appears the place is still open but under its third name now and it seems like it's also under new management. They're getting good ratings on Google though, 4.2 out of 5 stars.

O'Face Bar - Council Bluffs, Iowa

The one Iowa bar that's been on 'Bar Rescue' is O'Face Bar out of Council Bluffs, IA. They were in season 3 and the episode aired on March 23rd, 2014. The place is still open according to Google (even though I can't find a website or Facebook page), still under the same name, and has TERRIBLE reviews. 1.8 out of 5 stars on Google. And that's probably because the star of the show, Jon Taffer, walked out of the bar during the episode and didn't get the chance to change the bar whatsoever, according to BarRescueUpdates.com. Just a few years later in 2016, the owner was arrested for sexual abuse.

Y-Not III - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The first Wisconsin bar on 'Bar Rescue' is Y-Not III in Milwaukee, WI. They were in season 4 of the show and the episode aired on December 7th, 2014. In the episode, according to BarRescueUpdates.com, the bar was renamed Nick's House, after the owner. Based on Google reviews they were doing well with a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars but sadly the place closed in early 2016. According to Milwaukee Record, they had a hard time getting their footing after 'Bar Rescue' and they closed in May of 2016. The building was then demolished in July of 2016.

Packy's Pub - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Finally, we have Packy's Pub also in Milwaukee, WI. They were the episode after Y-Not III's episode in season 4. The Packy's Pub episode aired on December 14th, 2014. In the episode, according to BarRescueUpdates.com, the bar was renamed Campbell's Irish Pub which the owners ended up keeping. They revamped the place, got everything straightened out, and the staff and customers really seemed to enjoy the new look. On Google, they're getting 4.4 out of 5 stars. However, BarRescueUpdates.com says that Campbell's Irish Pub was listed for sale. I'm not sure when the listing was put up, but it appears it's still available. Right now the place is still open, I bet the owners have just decided to do something else now.
