Ford Tri-Motor Planes Land At Dearborn
DEARBORN, MICHIGAN - JUNE 9: Edsel B. Ford II, great-grandson of Henry Ford, poses with a rare, all-metal Ford Tri-Motor plane after it landed at the Dearborn Proving Ground June 9, 2003 in Dearborn, Michigan. The Proving Ground originally opened in 1925 as Ford Airport, the first modern airport in the world. The landing today of five vintage planes, part of Ford Motor Company's 100th Anniversary Celebration, was the first time in 56 years the test track has functioned as an airport.
