Stay a Night in a Historic Jail House in Southeast Minnesota
There are quite a few unique places to stay in Minnesota but I'm not sure any are as bizarre as this. You can stay in the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus in Wykoff, MN.
Part of this Airbnb (which is run by the City of Wykoff) was turned into a cute little place to stay like many other Airbnb's. Naturally, they had to put bedding on the main bed that are black and white striped. But there's a part of this Airbnb that weirds me out.
There are two bunked beds that are actually behind bars! I don't know why but I feel like I would get insanely claustrophobic in there. They also have newspaper clippings hung on the wall of some of the inmates that used to be there.
While it seems like a really cool experience, I don't think this is for me, I would be just slightly uneasy the entire time. Would you stay at this old jailhouse?
