Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Officers looking for evidence in a recent shooting in Rochester executed two search warrants Monday.

It’s not known if they found any evidence but three men were arrested after the searches turned up drugs and evidence of dealing.

A search of a residence in the 1000 block of 10th Ave NW turned up nearly 17 grams of suspected heroin, 213 grams of suspected marijuana, 25 packets of THC wax, $4000 in cash and drug-related paraphernalia.  Arrested were 20-year-old Jayvon Jones-Shields and 22-year-old James Walker. Shields is also expected to be charged with an earlier case involving the sale of heroin.

The other residence that was searched is in the 800 block of 15th Ave SE. Officers found 173 grams of marijuana and 47 packets of THC edible treats. Arrested there was 19-year-old Jeremiah Jackson.

It’s not known if the three were involved in the shooting that took place last month at the intersection of East River Rd and 37th St NE.  Shots were fired during an apparent confrontation involving occupants of three vehicles.
