Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News - Rochester Police are investigating a shooting that left a half-dozen bullet holes in a young couple’s home.

Police Captain John Sherwin says officers rushed to the 3800 block of Willow Ridge Drive Southwest shortly before 10 PM last night after receiving reports of a shooting. They found someone had fired six shots into a mobile home occupied by a 21-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man and their 2-year-old daughter. Luckily, no one was hurt.

Captain Sherwin says investigators do not know if the shooter was on foot, or in a vehicle and do not have a description of the suspect. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact the Police Department.

The shooting occurred about a block south of where police responded to an incident involving a man with a gun earlier this week, but Captain Sherwin says there’s nothing to indicate they are connected.
