Burglar Alert for Rural SW Rochester Neighborhood

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted burglary in a rural southwest Rochester neighborhood.

The incident in the Weatherhill neighborhood was reported Thursday by a cleaning worker who discovered someone had tried prying open the door of a home.

Investigators later learned a neighbor had spotted a strange man near the home around 5:45 AM. He was seen getting into a blue SUV that was being driven by a woman with blonde hair and they drove off. The man was described as white and in his 20s.

The sheriff’s office is asking any other witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers.
