Minnesota Troopers Will Be Pulling People Over For These Six Things Labor Day Weekend
A ton of people will be hitting the roads this weekend escaping for one last summer getaway. If you're going to be packing up and heading out don't be surprised if you see extra law enforcement on area roads. The Minnesota State Patrol announced a SLAM crackdown on their Facebook page on Monday morning: "The Minnesota State Patrol and troopers from three other states will be on the lookout for aggressive drivers today through Sept. 1. The Saturation Limiting Aggressive Motorists (SLAM) will be conducted by troopers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Montana along Interstate 94."
Troopers will be looking for drivers who:
• Speed
• Follow too close
• Commit lane change violations
• Commit hands-free violations
• Fail to signal
• Drive distracted
Nothing ruins a weekend quite like a ticket so drive safe!
