Here's a new one.   A Minnesota man, age 54, wanted to get out of his thousand dollars of medical bills.   He pretended to be a couple of different rockers hoping it would work.  It didn’t.  Shocker! His idea was, hey send it to my agent. He got caught.  He was pretending to be Alex Lifeson from Rush and also David Gilmour from Pink Floyd.

Here is a photo of Alex Lifeson on the stage during his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 18th of last year. Do you suppose he made this face when he found out that he was used in a criminal plot to save money on medical bills?

Phillip Schaeffer of Montecello, MN was just busted for skipping out on $ 49,000 in medical bills.  He skipped out on $23,000 in medical bills from the same hospital claiming he was Alex Lifeson, the guitarist from Rush.  He even posed for photos and signed autographs.  At this point, no one is sure what he was being treated for.   Those bills were racked up at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in Utah. He then tried to pull the same stunt, as Pink Floyd's Gilmour, at St. Cloud Hospital in Minnesota, and a nurse there put two and two together, when she realized he was not from PINK FLOYD.   He went in for a follow up and ended up confronted by security and confessed.   He now faces felony fraud charges.
