I am Karly Rhodes and I’ve been with ZROCK from the beginning! I grew up in Rochester. I’ve always been a bit of a music addict, you do not want to know how many CD’s, and even cassette tapes and records I own! It has been really awesome to see some great shows in town here and meet many of you! Sevendust, Korn, Distrubed, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Fuel, Devour the Day, Papa Roach, Nonpoint , Skillet, Oh I could go on. I grew up pretending to be just like the people I heard listening to the radio, and always wanted to be a part of it all. I have been in radio for my entire adult life, but nothing compares to ZROCK for me. I also enjoy other things like photography, and traveling. I have been to almost all 50 states, not Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, but almost everywhere!

Lars Is Designing A Bottle And Rolling A Drum Down The Sidewalk

Is it just me or does Lars Ulrich look like a cross between Jim Carrey & Jack Nicholson in this picture? I have no idea what Lars is saying here, but it sure is fun to watch. A Danish brewery asked Lars Ulrich to design a bottle for them for their 'Stand Out' collection. He was one of six people chosen to do this. The video is him talking about this whole endeavor, it's in Danish, however.

Automatic Car Washes…A Thing Of The Future…Maybe

I used to just love washing my car! When it was new of course. Then, the joy of it wears off, because, it's your old car and you are busy. A new type of car is being tested out that makes it so that you dont have to wash it. EVER! For real? Apparently!

New Kix July 22nd! 'Blow My Fuse' is one great album if I do say so myself. And I do say so. They haven't released an album for 19 years but this one will be most of the original line-up minus Mark Schenker on bass.

'Tantric' is playing ZROCK's Low Dough Show May 13th, it is their '37 Channels Tour' and just a few hours ago, the band posted online some live footage from a show they did yesterday, so we can get a little glimpse as to what we are in for when they hit the stage in Rochester!

Led Zeppelin plans on issuing some music from their past in early June with bonus material included. Jimmy Page, who by the way, is going to be receiving an honorary doctorate degree of music from Berklee on May 10th, has been pretty vocal about all of the material that they plan on releasing for a couple of years.
