Welcome to another edition of 'Minnesota Brutal'! In case you missed this, just before the holidays we started a blog that features local Minnesota bands. We're back at it again!

This week, meet Arrows At Dawn! You guys definitely wanted to talk about them.

If you've never heard of them before, you're in for a treat. Arrows At Dawn is a gritty hard rock band out of Minneapolis. If you're into stripped down three chord rock (honestly, who isn't?), you will like this band. We'd even go so far as to suggest it'll remind you of Californication era Red Hot Chili Peppers, or the Foo Fighters. It's always awesome to have type of sound to rely on.

Recently, they've been "in a cave" writing for their next album, but in the meantime - we dug up their latest effort Pieces. It's been out since October of 2015, and you'll definitely hear a refreshing tone that reflect our "three chord" theory.

As you look at their catalog, you'll notice that Pieces is heavier than the previous release, Out Of Touch (which was their first full length album).

What'd we tell ya? Stripped down, no frills, awesome, rock - right?

Arrows At Dawn consists of: Tim Andrews-Vocals and Guitars, Patrick Zak-Bass and Vocals, Mattew Wahlberg-Guitars and Mark Puder-Drums.

They're just one more reason Minnesota is brutal! Enjoy!
