A vehicle pulling onto East Circle Dr. from Stadiumview Pl. and a vehicle traveling south on East Circle Dr. collided in the intersection, according to the police report.

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- One person was killed in a crash near the Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) campus Wednesday night.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson. 

Officers responded to the scene of the deadly collision in southeast Rochester around 10 p.m.

74-Year-Old Rochester Man Killed, Two Injured in Crash at RCTC Campus & East Circle Dr. in Southeast Rochester

The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of East Circle Dr. Southeast and Stadium View Pl. Southeast. The road connects RCTC's stadium parking lot with East Circle Dr.

Grayson says a 74-year-old Rochester man was driving the vehicle that was leaving the campus. He died as a result of the collision.

The man’s name has not been released. A passenger riding with the 74-year-old and the other driver were both transported from the scene by ambulance, Grayson said. 

The passenger is an 18-year-old from Rochester. A 34-year-old from Rochester was driving the other vehicle, according to police.

Grayson says the passenger and other driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Their names are also not available. 

No citations were issued. Rochester police are investigating the deadly crash, Grayson said.
