Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A former Rochester school district employee accused of molesting two young girls made his first court appearance Thursday.

During the arraignment for 29-year-old Nicholas Keller, he was ordered not to have any contact with the two alleged victims or anyone under 18. Keller has been ordered back to court for an evidentiary hearing Feb 1st.

Both cases center on the Stewartville man’s employment in the district’s School Aged Child Care (SACC) program.

In one case, Keller is accused of molesting a girl at Sunset Terrace in 2016. The other accuses Keller of molesting a young girl over a three year period at Gage and Sunset Terrace schools, beginning in 2006 when she was 9-years-old.

The district says he resigned from his Sunset Terrace job in May, about the same time police were notified about the other case.

Keller is also facing eight counts of child porn involving girls under the age of 18. During the investigation into the sex abuse case, officers say they searched his laptop and found it contained child pornography.
