Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A former Rochester man has been sentenced to 8 years in prison in a Twin Cities sex-trafficking case.

23-year-old Tyree Jones, who played for the Rochester Community and Technical College football team last year, pleaded guilty last month to an aiding and abetting sex trafficking charge stemming from his arrest at a Woodbury motel in December. The criminal complaint alleged he and a Minneapolis man prostituted two women, ages 18 and 20. The four were arrested after Woodbury police investigators responded to an online ad offering sexual services and two women described Jones as their “pimp.”

Court records show Jones was also convicted of a prostitution charge in Ramsey County in 2012 and was sentenced to a year in jail and 15-years on probation.
