Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office continues investigating an incident that led to a lockdown of Dover/Eyota High School Wednesday.

The lockdown was implemented after the school became aware of a gun-related incident that happened the day before.

Sheriff’s Office Capt Scott Behrns says a male student displayed a gun to a classmate in the parking lot of the school on Tuesday. The BB gun was confiscated from the student’s home Wednesday.

Behrns says his investigators are looking into that incident and others that happened at school and elsewhere Tuesday. Behrns says several students have been interviewed and more may be contacted. He says most of those involved in the investigation have been cooperating.

Behrns says he expects charges will be filed, likely involving more than one student.
