After filing bankruptcy earlier this year, another one of their locations is set to close. This time, the Rochester location. Making The Walking Company the 5th Apache Mall store to close this year. Sadly, we have little time to get to the mall before they will close their doors for good. The manager has confirmed The Walking Company store will close tomorrow evening (Tuesday, April 24th).

According to Footwearnews, "The Walking Co. has become the latest mall-based chain to be impacted by rapid digital disruption." The company was founded in 1991 and currently has 200 stores across the U.S. They are known as the world's leading destination for high-quality, technically designed comfort footwear, orthotics, and accessories.

After having foot surgery, the store came highly recommended to me by doctors and fellow friends with foot issues. So for me personally, I'm sad to see them go. They have a few locations in the cities that are still open, and you can order from their online store.
