4 ‘Creepy’ Places In Rochester That Aren’t That Creepy
Sure, these places are often called "creepy" but are they?
My year-and-a-half in Rochester has totally shown me that some folks tend to exaggerate, ESPECIALLY when it comes to things that are "bad" or "creepy"... but hey, you're talking to a girl originally from Pittsburgh. Let's just say I saw a lot of things there.
Anyway - I often find myself exploring the places in our area labeled as "creepy" and finding them to be pretty tame or endearing.
Here are my thoughts. Do you agree?

Sure, the cemetery is creepy... because cemeteries... but overall, it's really a cute family-friendly park that's got a great reputation for a reason.

Honestly, when I first revealed that I was moving to Rochester many told me not to move to SE Rochester.
To this day, I don't see why. Crime happens everywhere in the city - not just that area.
3Downtown Rochester
I've heard, "After midnight - things get weird in Downtown Rochester!" I know it's because of the bars and restaurants in the area, but trust me - if you're not a total tool you'll be fine.

I'll admit, this place definitely has a history. However, it's gone through numerous renovations and really shaped up!
I'd stay here, if I didn't live in Rochester already.
