Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A drug raid earlier this week in Oronoco led to the seizure of almost a pound of methamphetamine.

Rochester police say 13 ounces of the drug, along with a variety of prescription medications and about $2500 in cash, were found after investigators executed a search warrant at a home located at 2586 Lake Shady Avenue South in Oronoco Tuesday afternoon.

Police Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis says the officers also found an 18-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy in the home alone while their mother was at the Olmsted County Jail visiting her boyfriend, who had been arrested earlier in the week on a warrant issued by authorities in Wisconsin. Sadauskis says 31-year-old Brig Kough was the target of the investigation, but 41-year-old Kimberly Lemmerman is also expected to face felony drug charges involving both the sale and possession of meth.

Court records show Kough has a lengthy criminal history in the Rochester area that includes two convictions for first-degree aggravated robbery and three for simple robbery. He was sentenced to over 4-years in prison for the aggravated robbery convictions in 2006 and was given a sentence of about 3 ½ years in prison in 2011 for his simple robbery convictions.
