Well, It Worked Last Time

Last week, before the Packers Cowboys game, I thought Brent, our Ops Manager here at Z-Rock, tainted my beloved Packers by donning the cheese head and brat lei...and it turns out, it was GOOD luck! Will it work again?  Brent is a die-hard Viking fan and has been all of his life. So imagine the horror I felt when I came back from lunch one day last week and saw that a Viking fan had put on my cheese head. I thought for sure that he had tainted it and they were going to lose to the Cowboys.

As I mentioned in the article I linked to above, I've got my superstitions. That happened to be one of them but apparently, Brent has broken that tradition. So, since it worked last week, I'm hoping that it will work again this week as the Packers travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.

Thanks to Brent...and of course, the PFWA MVP quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, they just might pull this off. I did say the Packers will beat the Cowboys a full 5 days before the game on my Facebook page. So yeah.

After Brent wore the cheese head and brat lei a second time THIS week, I decided to make another BOLD prediction on my Facebook.

This time, I even predicted the score. We'll see how that turns out for me. I know I'm going to catch a lot of hell IF they lose. There's a lot of smack talk around the office this week from Viking fans, Lions fans, Chiefs fans etc. and I'll admit, it's going to be a tough game. The Seahawks are firing on all cylinders and play VERY tough at home but they CAN be beat at home. Their lone home loss in 2014? The Cowboys beat them 30-23.
