Wanamingo, MN (KROC-AM News) - A rural Wanamingo man was pronounced dead at the scene after he was fatally injured in a traffic crash this morning.

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Department says 32-year-old Gregory Greseth was driving a pickup truck that collided with a car at the intersection of 490th Street and 130th Avenue at 7:50 am. The rural intersection is located about 5 miles south of Wanamingo just east of Highway 57. A spokesperson says the driver of the car, 18-year-old Micah Johnson of rural Kenyon was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital.

It was the just latest in a rash of fatal crashes across the state. Since last Wednesday, at least 17 people have been killed on Minnesota roadways.
