Vegan options in Rochester? Why not!? Vegan or not, it's certainly never a bad time to try tasty healthy food.

I'd like to start this off by saying, personally, I'm not vegan. What caught my eye about this event however, is that it's even an option at all.

Maybe it's because I'm new to Rochester still, but I find that I rarely see vegan options on most menus in the area. I have, however, seen A TON of vegan and organic options in grocery stores and I applaud that.

The Vegan Information Group of Rochester senses a need for vegan options in the city, so, it does its part to raise awareness when those options are created.

Take a look at this cool event! Monthly, they have a vegan potluck. On March 29th, at the Rochester Area Foundation, you can attend one at 6:30pm.

They explain, "[...] join us for our monthly completely plant-based potluck! Please bring a vegan dish (no meat, dairy, eggs, or honey) to share, as well as your own place setting and a drink." So, you'll need to come prepared with supplies, but you'll end up trying something new!
