This Tiny Minnesota Home With A Private Beach Is A Quaint Oddball
Some homes make you wish you had a million dollars to fork over and this might be one of them. A home in Red Wing, Minnesota is up for grabs and while the house itself is teeny, the land it sits on and its exterior is enough to make you want to put in an offer!
There are a bunch of really interesting houses for sale in Minnesota and beyond. Who doesn't love browsing through Zillow just to look at strange houses or just strange pieces of real estate in general?
A great example of this is a recent listing for just under one million in Northern Minnesota: a whole entire town! A ghost town is up for grabs and judging by the pictures, it doesn't look too much like a ghost town.
The strangest real estate listing I have personally seen for sale was a dome home right here in the Duluth area. It went up for sale in August and is sold now. The home gives off Flintstone vibes and is definitely one of a kind.
I recently came across another wild listing that is a few hours from the Twin Ports. In true Minnesota fashion, it sits on Lake Pepin and the home comes with one acre of land. There is also over 400 feet of private shoreline. It sits at just over 1,000 square feet.
It's not the house itself that is strange or wild though - it is the exterior. The home has pagoda architecture, which means a home built in a towering formation with multiple levels. It also means the home is made with stone, brick or wood.
This is incredibly rare, especially in the Minnesota area. This type of architecture really sets it apart. Even the separate garage and guest house have this type of architecture, which will have guests doing a double take.
This type of architecture also is evident in the master bedroom on top of the home, which has panoramic views of the entire property. Built in 1929, this home is unlike any other and the land is incredible. 27858 Greens Point Road is a home that you just won't find anywhere else.
