This Rochester House Has An Obnoxious Amount of Bedrooms
Since the Duggar, and Gosselin families live nowhere near here, I can't help but wonder who would need this many bedrooms in their home?
I'm not in the market for a new home, but I catch myself shopping around from time to time and just for fun I wanted to see how many homes in and around Rochester had more than five bedrooms. That's when I came across this massive 4,000 square-foot residence that had eight bedrooms, and five and a half bathrooms!
According to the listing on Zillow, it was built back in 1949 and is located 2.5 miles from downtown and Mayo Clinic. The property even backs up to Quarry Hill Nature Center on the northeast side of the city.
As of right now, it's for sale by the owner for $425,000, which seems like a steal considering you could probably knock a few walls down to expand some rooms for entertainment purposes or even a larger kitchen?
Maybe I've watched too many episodes of "Fixer Upper" with my wife, but if you're looking for a house to flip and you don't need eight bedrooms (because why would you?) then this would be fun one to channel your inner Chip and Joanna Gaines and do it.
