Math has never been my strong suit. I can do basic math like: If I have a 12 pack of beer and drink 3, I have 9 left. That's about it. This one is twisting my brain. My initial answer is 65 but after reading people's comments (See below) it twists my brain and hurts to think.

"Originally there was no one on the train, 65 people got on, 19 got off. There are now 46."

Another said:

"17 got in and there are now 63. Acceptable answers as 0, 65 or 46. Poorly worded question."

Then there's this response:

"This is the correct answer.

63+19=82

82-17=65

65-19=46"

MY math has it like this:

63 people on the bus now. So take the 17 people off that. 63-17=46

Then, take the 46 people, add 19. 46+19=65. So there WERE 65 people on the train.
