The Rock Might Actually Run For President In 2020

First of all, I'm surprised at how much I'm totally on board for this. 

I've come across various news stories and interviews where actor-slash-former professional wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been asked if he would ever consider running for president. On first glance, it doesn't really make sense. He's never been in politics or shown an interest in governing. On the other hand, the dude is insanely charismatic, and if you follow him on social media, you know that he seems like a legitimately awesome human being. Even if you've never watched professional wrestling or seen his movies, it's hard not to like the guy. So maybe, just maybe, the idea of "President The Rock" isn't too far fetched.

I mean, look at the world we currently live in. Anything is possible, really.

In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Johnson was asked that same question again: Would you ever consider running for president in 2020?

His answer about entering the next presidential race? "It's a real possibility."

Despite the fact that I have no idea what his political affiliation is or what issues he stands for, I would absolutely for The Rock. Seriously, who would mess with America if a former WWE Champion is our president? Imagine what the campaign debates would look like. I kind of really want to see that.

2016 was crazy. In 2020, let's get weird.
