After 11 Years, Family-Owned Business Closing in SE Minnesota
An amazing seasonal store in Southeast Minnesota is closed for good on Sunday, October 16th. The owners announced that they are retiring and if you want one last shot at getting merchandise, this weekend is it and then the barn doors are closed forever.
The Prim Barn in Southeast Minnesota is Closing For Good
A ton of people know about this secret barn just North of Rochester, Minnesota that is full of amazing farmhouse-style goodies but just in case you haven't heard of The Prim Barn, let me fill you in. IT IS AWESOME! (see how I used all caps in that to show you how awesome it really is? 🙃).
Honestly, it is one of my happy places in Minnesota and when I heard the news that the owners were retiring and the barn was closing for good, it was a mixture of emotions for me. I first told my husband we should buy the whole business, then was happy for the owners because this is a huge and good step for anyone who is a business owner. Then I had a little bit of a panic because the last day it is open forever is the only day that I can make it to shop.
Take a peek at what the barn will have for sale over at their Facebook page - Prim Barn and be sure to visit them at 37183 Cty Rd 3 in Lake City, Minnesota. (Get directions to The Prim Barn here.)
A few hilarious photos I took at The Prim Barn last year
I love signs, especially funny ones, and below are a few that I saw at The Prim Barn last year that made me laugh. If you don't like bathroom humor though, you probably won't enjoy most of these.
