Thanksgiving is coming and if you're the one in charge of the meal, you're probably starting to feel the pressure. You definitely don't want to mess it up.

If this is your first time or you have any questions the experts at Butterball's Turkey Talk Line are here to help.

The most common question they get is:

“How do I thaw a turkey?”

Nicole Johnson, a customer service rep, says there are two ways.

1) Remove your wrapped turkey from the freezer and put it on a tray breast-side up inside your refrigerator. For every four pounds of turkey you should allow 1 day of thawing.

2) Create a cold-water bath in a clean sink and place the still-wrapped turkey breast-side down in the bath. Every 30 minutes you should change the water and rotate the turkey. This method should only take around 30-minutes per pound to thaw out. Once thawed place in the fridge until you're ready to cook.
