The Cutting Of The Locks, Eddie Vedder & My Nonpoint Question…

Eddie Vedder recently honored a fan's request, and chopped his dreads.  Of course it was caught on video...

It reminded me of this moment in history here in Rochester, when Nonpoint was playing.

The guys were very nice, and let me get this photo with them.  You know when you meet someone face to face, and you are a fan, which I am, of Nonpoint, sometimes crazy stuff comes out of your mouth.    I have a bit of a hair fettish, and so what did I ask?

"Wow, your dreads are so long, how long did that take to grow?"  I was addressing Elias Soriano of Nonpoint.   It was the first thing that came to mind standing by him that night, because, well, even photos don't do it justice, his hair is never-ending!

He responded, "A long time,"  and went on to say, "Oh, quite a few years, like ten, or more."   I bet!   This photo was captured here in Rochester that night... As for my foot, in my mouth for asking a stupid question?   That's probably still there.   ( ha! )
