Shed Fire Spreads to SE Rochester Home

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A fire that apparently began in a shed spread to a Rochester home Friday.

Rochester firefighters were called to Oak Terrace Estates along Marion Rd around 1:30 PM and arrived to find “the shed fully involved, and the adjacent trailer beginning to burn."

The Rochester Fire Dept. says "Once the bulk of the shed fire was knocked down, crews moved interior and located significant fire in a bedroom adjacent to the shed, as well as in the attic space.”

RFD says two adults, a juvenile, and a dog escaped without injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Suspect dies in officer-involved shooting in NE Minnesota
