Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A rural Olmsted County man was arrested Tuesday after being interviewed about sex-related allegations involving a child.

Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Behrns says a 20-year-old woman reported the allegations Tuesday morning. She told investigators the sexual abuse began when she was 6 or 7-years-old and continued over a 10-year period.

Behrns says investigators interviewed 54-year-old Timothy Griffin about the allegations. Behrns says Griffin admitted to “multiple acts” and was arrested on three felony charges of criminal sexual conduct.

The Rock Dell Township man was expected to be arraigned Thursday.
