Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman has been arrested after admitting she had allowed a fugitive to stay at her apartment.

Authorities have been trying to find 32-year-old Brent Espenson since last week after he and a friend reportedly assaulted another man over a period of several hours.

Olmsted County deputies went to an apartment in the 500 block of Northern Hills Dr NE on Wednesday to see if Espenson was there. The occupant, 37-year-old Nicole Thompson, admitted he had been there the night before.

Sheriff’s Office Capt. Scott Behrns says Thompson admitted she knew Espenson was a wanted person. Behrns says she also told the deputies she did not care if she was arrested and would not cooperate in efforts to locate Espenson.
