Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police are investigating an armed robbery reported by a teenager trying to buy marijuana.

A police spokesman says the 17-year-old victim accompanied two other juveniles to Bear Creek Park near Mayo High School in southeast Rochester, where he planned to purchase the drugs. After they arrived, the victim told police he was hit on the back of his head and had a handgun pointed at him by one of the other juveniles.

He said he was robbed of $500 before his attackers fled. At last report, police were still looking for the pair. The robbery was reported around 7:30 PM.
