C’mon, Minnesota, Who’ll Make Our First Trick-or-Treat ZIp Line?
There has to be someone in Minnesota...in Southern Minnesota...in Southeastern Minnesota that can make this and we want to see it as soon as they have it up and running. The Halloween Trick or Treat Zip Line looks pretty easy to make, and sure keeps a distance between candy giver and candy receiver.
It's the brainchild of Thompson Woodworks in Michigan. The video (below) says..
A little early but here’s my solution for a socially distanced Halloween😁🎃. Yes, I asked my family and neighbors to dress up their kids for my silly video. They did get candy out of the deal. I included some treats for the parents as well. I used a cable and some pulleys to create a zipline. I used a fishing reel to retrieve the beer caddy.
Now, I don't know how many people are going to go out trick or treating this year, but if y'all are going to do it remember...stay six feet apart from other ToT's, clean the candy or isolate it long enough for the virus to die before eating.
A great way to disinfect is to fill a spray bottle full of Everclear. It's super high-proof alchohol, so it's basically isopropal alchohol. Spray the candy wrappers down, let it air dry, then gorge (taking the required parent tax, of course).
Another brain child of this business is the Michigan Wine Chair and the Michigan Beer Chair. This is some really well built stuff.
