Rochester Teen Booked Twice For DWI in One Night
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester teenager was arrested twice for drug-related DWI in less than eight hours.
A patrol officer sent to check a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Good Shepherd church in the 500 block of 20th St SW found a woman in the car who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. That was around 9:45 PM Wednesday.
Some prescription pills were found in the car. The officer arrested 18-year-old Cameryn Hayft. She was taken to jail where she was booked and later released.
Around 4:45 AM Thursday an officer went to check a report of a vehicle that had just struck a mailbox. The site was near the same church. The driver? Cameryn Hayft, who was under the influence again.
She was taken to jail again and this time locked up.
