Rochester Police Identify Teenage Burglary Suspects
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police believe they have identified the culprits responsible for a string of residential burglaries last fall.
Police Captain John Sherwin says investigators executed search warrants at four homes, mainly in northwest Rochester, on Wednesday and recovered a large amount of suspected stolen property. That includes a variety of electronic devices, liquor, and even a stolen rifle. He says investigators are now working to match the items to the lists of stolen property from around a dozen break-ins at homes in northwest Rochester.
Sherwin says four teenagers were questioned as suspects. He says the two 17-year-old boys, and a 16-year-old boy from Rochester, along with an 18-year-old Austin man were not arrested, but they are expected to eventually face charges connected to the burglaries.
