Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The trial for one of the three people accused of being involved in the murder of a Rochester man has been postponed.

34-year-old Keilah Parsons had been scheduled to stand trial this week, but she is now scheduled to appear for a pre-trial hearing in late January with the start of her trial scheduled for the morning of February 2nd. The Rochester woman currently faces 2nd-degree murder charges stemming from the shooting death of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt. She is accused of being with Malcolm Woods when the 27-year-old Rochester man allegedly shot the victim in the entryway to his home at Bob’s Trailer Park.

Woods was recently indicted on a first-degree murder charge in the case and is scheduled to enter a plea to the upgraded charge at a hearing on May 16th. The third person charged in the case, 20-year-old Darian Klindsworth-Woods is scheduled to appear for a plea hearing in Olmsted County Court on Friday.

Prosecutors allege the three cousins plotted to kill Arndt because they mistakenly believed he had something to do with a life-threatening medical emergency suffered by their grandmother, who lived in a neighboring mobile home. The murder occurred while she was in the intensive care unit at St. Marys Hospital last September.
