Rochester Motorcyclist Says: Back Off Car and Truck Drivers, You’re Too Close
You'll find a lot of Rochester and SE Minnesota rants on Facebook. Pick a town page, you'll find some rants. Most of the time I'm pretty sure they don't change anyone's mind. I hope this one does.
Jessica Hoffman Anderson had something to say about motorcycle safety on Spotted in Rochester...and EVERYONE needs to hear it.
Here's another friendly PSA! When you're following a motorcycle and the driver/passenger keeps turning around to look at you it's not because you're hot (OK maybe in some instances it is) Its because YOU ARE TO CLOSE!
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NEVER ANY REASON TO RIDE THE BACK TIRE OF A MOTORCYCLE EVER!!!
Back off a little bit, stop being in such a hurry, stay off your phone, be aware! Teach your kids to count motorcycles instead of vw beetles so when they start to drive they are always aware too!!! It's that time of year!
The more you know!
Keep the shiny side up friends
"Keep the shiny side up" is a phrase I've never heard, so I looked it up.
As always, if you have a comment, complaint, or concern about something I wrote here, please let me know: james.rabe@townsquaremedia.com
