Rochester Man’s Death Considered Suspicious
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police are investigating a suspicious death.
Police Captain Casey Moilanen says officers were sent to a residence at 2319 28 1/2 Avenue Northwest around 9:30 AM after the dispatch center received a call from a person who believed they saw a dead person in one of the apartments. The responding officers located an obviously deceased man with signs of physical trauma that may have contributed to his death.
Captain Moilanen says the victim has been tentatively identified as a 41-year-old man who lived in the apartment complex. His name has not been released.
At this time, his death is considered suspicious and the investigation is active and ongoing.
